Slonina joined Eupen on loan in the summer window and has gone on to player regularly for the Belgian Pro League side. The goal secured a draw for KV Kortrijk, who remain bottom of the table in the Belgian Pro League. It's also a tough moment for Slonina, who is looking to impress while out on loan at Eupen. The stopper signed a six-year deal with the Blues after moving from Chicago Fire, with a view to becoming a future starter for the Premier League side. He's played 14 of Eupen's league games so far this season. The Belgian side currently sit in 13th place in the table.

Slonina has been tipped to go on and become "one of the greatest keepers in the world" by current Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino, which shows how highly he is rated at Stamford Bridge. Robert Sanchez is the club's current No. 1, with Kepa Arrizbalaga having moved to Real Madrid on loan and hoping to make the move permanent. Slonina will be hoping his loan spell can help him develop further and battle for minutes at Chelsea next season.
