The Sun recently reported that Portuguese giants Benfica could be banned from playing in the Champions League for up to three years after the club was charged with a series of crimes relating to alleged corruption and the provision of false information.
We asked Manchester United fans whether, in the midst of the allegations, they thought Ed Woodward and Jose Mourinho should make a move for centre-back Ruben Dias in January.
United were linked with a number of different centre-backs during the summer but failed to sign any of their targets, who included Harry Maguire, Jerome Boateng, Toby Alderweireld and Diego Godin.
Dias is just 21-years-old but has already made 38 first-team appearances at Benfica, chipping in with four goals in the process. The young defender, who is valued at £19.8m by Transfermarkt, also made his international debut earlier this year and was included in the Portuguese World Cup squad, although he failed to make an appearance off the bench.
Despite this, just 52% of United fans that voted in our poll were keen to see the club make a move in January. Check out the full results below.
